GETTING INVOLVED IN CLUBS
There are many ways to get involved in Stern clubs. All clubs host general meetings and events that are open to all students. Additionally, clubs offer application–based programs every semester.
IMPORTANT DATES
Stern Club Spotlights: 9/2 & 9/3 in Paulson Auditorium (UC-50) from 6:30 PM–9:00 PM
Hosted by ICC, Stern Club Spotlights is a semesterly 2–day event during which students can learn more about Stern clubs. Students will hear directly from club leaders and have the opportunity to ask questions and mingle in breakout rooms.
Students interested in attending should come to Paulson Auditorium (UC–50) in Tisch Hall on Wednesday, September 2nd, and Thursday, September 3rd. With more than 36 clubs participating, a different group of clubs will be featured each day. Check the ICC Instagram to see which clubs are presenting on each date!
Stern Clubs 101 Workshop: 9/4 in Paulson Auditorium (UC-50) from 12:30 PM–1:30 PM
The Stern Clubs 101 workshop takes place at the start of every semester. ICC will explain how Stern’s club system works, including how to get involved and apply to application-based programs. Students interested in learning more about Stern clubs are encouraged to attend!
GENERAL MEETINGS
Attending general meetings is a great way to get involved with clubs! Most clubs hold general meetings every week. General meetings often cover a wide range of topics – from speaker events to resume workshops to upperclassmen Q&A panels.
All Stern undergraduate students receive the ICC newsletter every Sunday at 5:00 PM. The newsletter details the upcoming week’s club events, including their times and locations.
Students not in the Stern School of Business are encouraged to visit ICC’s Non–Stern Student Resources for PDF copies of the weekly newsletter, as we are unable to add non–Stern students to the mailing list.
APPLICATION–BASED Programs
In addition to general meetings, Stern clubs offer two types of application-based programs: Exploratory Programs and Team Programs. Clubs may offer one or both types of programs. To learn more about what club programs are being offered during the Fall 2026 semester, please click here.
Students apply to all club programs through the Central Club Application. The Central Club Application is currently closed. Application timelines vary by program classification, and the Central Club Application will open on 9/14 at 9:00 AM for Exploratory Programs and on 9/20 at 9:00 AM for Team Programs.
Exploratory Programs: Include programs that offer general leadership training and teach industry-agnostic skills (e.g., professionalism, club-specific training). Mentorship and other community-focused programs, along with programs that allow you to explore career interests, are also included in this category.
Team Programs: Cover pre-professional materials and skills aimed at preparing you for the post-college experience (e.g., PowerPoint/Excel, technicals).
