UNDERGraduate liaison program
What is the undergraduate liaison (UL) program?
The Undergraduate Liaison Program is designed to introduce freshmen to Stern’s club system, teach important pre–professional skills, and prepare students for future club leadership. The program connects Undergraduate Liaisons (ULs) directly with ICC E–Board members and club leaders, providing structured mentorship and early exposure to the range of organizations at Stern.
program overview
ULs attend weekly ICC E–Board meetings and develop a strong understanding of how Stern clubs operate, how student organizations are built and funded, and how leadership decisions are made across campus.
ULs participate in weekly UL career worksops led by ICC’s Mentorship Directors. Through career workshops, ULs gain exposure to various industries – such as investment banking, consulting, and technology – and learn important pre–professional skills through group projects, stock pitches, and case competitions.
ULs join a tight-knit community and receive ongoing mentorship from ICC leadership. In addition to bonding events and UL socials, ICC hosts a retreat in both the fall and spring semesters.
ULs gain behind-the-scenes access to ICC operations while building meaningful relationships with students across multiple clubs, including all 34 club presidents.
ULs serve as a pipeline to future Stern club leadership and ICC E–Board roles. All current ICC E–Board members were ULs during their freshmen year and are involved in many other clubs on campus, such as MCG, SOF, 180DC, and SVS.
MEET THE PROGRAM DIRECTORS
ICC’s Mentorship Directors, Aaryan Parikh and Nisha Kurup, will be leading the UL program during Spring 2026. As Mentorship Directors, they will facilitate weekly career workshops and help guide ULs as they gain key pre–professional competencies.
Aaryan is a junior at NYU Stern and joined ICC during his freshman fall through the UL program. He previously served as ICC’s Operations Director during his sophomore spring. Aaryan is also involved on campus in MCG and is currently President.
Nisha is a junior at NYU Stern and joined ICC during her freshman spring through the UL program. She previously served as ICC’s Internal Affairs Director during her junior fall. Nisha is also involved on campus in SVS and led SVS V-Team last semester.
